Here on the Big Island, weather is constantly changing, there are times that weather temperatures drop in higher altitudes and sunny and hot at the beaches. Would be best to wear what you would when hiking and bring a sweater in case it gets cold. Close shoes is a must at the Volcano’s National Park, but would be nice to bring along a pair of slippers for the beach!
